The holidays: a time when friends and family gather to share stories, gifts, and togetherness. It’s also a time of stress, anxiety, and business. Shopping turns into an Olympic event: dodging carts, maneuvering past others, and spotting the item you need to purchase, all while dealing with the energy pouring from other people.
As an empath, shopping is already a challenge for me. Throw in the high stress of the holiday season, and my slight headache has turned into a full blown migraine after one store.
