Rejuvenate This Summer!

Last month we learned all about the beautiful, outward energy of summer. Summer is so full of life, growth, and potential, that it’s easy to get caught up in a plethora of events, activities, and goals. For busy-bodies like me, all of this can be too much and cause us to put personal goals to the side.

While summer is a very active time of year, it is still important to take time to retreat and engage in self-care. Your personal energy well is constantly emptying and filling in accordance with the energy you give and receive. Since summer is an outward-facing time, it is easy to give, give, give, and forget to replenish yourself!

Check out these beautiful ways to rejuvenate your energy during the busy summer:

  1. Set a summer goal. Just one! Summer is very busy, so set one goal. Check out this easy-to-follow guide from Newport Academy.
  2. Spend time in nature. I talk about this a lot, but I cannot overstate the power of connecting with the Earth: it is truly magical. Protect yourself from insects with Nourish’s Bug Spray.
  3. Indulge in a Summer Bath
  4. Exercise. There is a huge connection between your mind and your body: happy body = happy mind! Make your body happy with some type of exercise – walk, jog, run, or join a gym.
  5. Say no. You cannot do it all this summer – it’s okay to say no! Monitor your mental and physical health carefully, and if you feel overwhelmed, consider canceling something social and engaging in self-care instead.

No matter how you spend your summer, be sure it’s full of light, love, and happiness!
